Remember, science is tested on the FCAT in fifth grade! Fifth graders can log-in to FCAT Explorer to practice their FCAT science skills. They should know their username and password as this is used at school (hint fifth graders... it's the same as your SuccessMaker login!)

Brain Pop is great for both fourth and fifth grade students! There are lots of quizzes and activities you can try at the end of each science video you watch. Mrs. Owen will attach the username and password into your agenda book if you need it!

You can visit Florida's Department of Education's website to view item specifications for the upcoming FCAT assessment. As of right now, the FCAT Science 2.0 (new benchmarks) will be tested in 2012. I have attached links to both the old released science FCAT tests (these were actual science assessments that were given years ago that DOE has made public) and the link to the new FCAT item specifications (fourth grade parents, you will be interested in looking at these, as your children WILL be taking the FCAT Science 2.0)
